Jo-Ann started carving pumpkins as a night-time accent to her famous pumpkin roof.

With only a small paring knife, carrot peeler and a lot of determination, she creates 150 spectacular jack-o-lanterns to delight the thousands of people who visit Mahone Bay for the annual Scarecrow festival.

Jo-Ann carves everything from lobsters to tall ships, birds, cats and flowers. She even has a Picasso gallery!
